I have a problem with Acrobat Reader on Windows 8.1 because I want to override its default setting of opening up on the last monitor which it used.
I have a windows monitor tool called Ultramon which works fine with other applications but not with Acrobat Reader.
I thought I might be able to change the way that Reader selects its display monitor - at the moment the preference setting says "This Monitor".
I wanted to change this to "Main Monitor" to see if it made any difference - but if I change the setting and click OK, then go back into Preferences immediately the setting has already reverted to "This Monitor".
Maybe this setting isn't going to help my problem, in which case I'd like to know if there is another way round it because I want to write an application which will direct Acrobat Reader to open on a pre-defined monitor which is not necessarily the one which it used last time.
