I was able to print pdf files that I created on my pc all last week.  I was gone and over the weekend we lost power twice.  I upgraded in windows 10 months ago. and it says Microsoft edge is the default pdf.  It worked before but now does not allow me to print my files.  Can you please help

As I said, BE SURE TO OPEN IN ACROBAT NOT IN EDGE. I've seen this and you have to stop using Edge for PDFs. You may have to give up on double clicking PDFs.

It was working fine for a couple of months while on windows 10, the maybe I was sent an upgrade fro adobe I guess I clicked on maybe acrobat reader dc.  All worked fine then we lost power a couple of times in our house things must have reverted back and the new default because of MIcroosoft 10 was the edge is not recognized anymore.

I think I have acrobat 8 Professional

Acrobat 8 is quite an old version, and not compatible with Windows 10, so problems are to be expected.

Also be sure to open in Acrobat not Edge.

It was never compatible. Maybe it worked, but that's not the same thing.

The power-out has nothing to do with it, I think. It's more likely that the update to Windows broke it.
