I have Reader DC on a Windows 8 Dell All-in-one. It continues to update itself even though I went into regedit and turned it off. The reason I don't want to upgrade is because the new version is causing some PDF's to come up Black. And it's only on this one computer. All other computers work fine. Reader dors not display large images unless configured to do so. This for faster processing. You need to set the display preference to "Display large images. Look under "Edit => Preferences" for the General or Display options.

Thanks for your quick response. However, the setting is already set at show large images. Any other thoughts? It's only the one computer doing this. All others that are using the application are doing just fine.
