I need to create an expandable text field in Adobe Pro XI

I have a form that needs to have a text box for an unknown amount of text, and I want the text box to expand to fix the text rather than creating a scroll bar on the right side of the field.

Fields created in Acrobat do not behave this way. If you use LiveCycle Designer, you can create a dynamic form and configure fields to auto-expand. If you go this route and have more questions, there is a LiveCycle Designer forum here.

Have you considered adjusting the text by using a font size of "Auto" or 0?
