I purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Standard previously. My computer was changed out and I lost this and need to reinstall it. Have been unsuccessful and need help. My serial number will not work.

Could you please provide me the exact error message you get when you input the serial number ?
Also please let me know the OS version of your system?
Please refer to the mentioned link to verify the serial number : Find your Adobe product serial number quickly
And try to install acrobat XI from the mentioned link : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

The initial error I get is “Serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer. When I go to my adobe account and try to install the program I purchased, it will not complete the install and stops saying something is using these files and must be closed before install will work. There is nothing open on computer.

Hi DeanOs,
You can try navigating to the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE on the keyboard.
And click on end task for all the Microsoft office apps you see in the list .
Then try reinstalling .
