i would like to edit a few pdf's i created. i downloaded (acrobatproDC_00000000000000000000000409.exe) and then did the install. but when i open one of my docs, the edit option not there. what have i done wrong

uninstall whatever you downloaded.

if windows, clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

reinstall the correct version for which you are licensed using a different browser.
