import information to build a list and populate text boxes

I'd like to make a form something like this tutorial (https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/change_another_field) where a dropdown populates text fields. Its for an address book of sorts. Name of client in the dropdown, first line of text form would be address, the second, city, state and zip.

Is it possible to have this information imported from a text file, xml file or something a little easier to work with outside of acrobat? The best of all worlds would be for it to pull from an excel document.

OMG! that's it! Thank you so much! I've been mulling over it for days now. (with my wasted time costing way more than the $40!) This is perfect. Thanks!
