Insert a colored box between an image and the text that is overprinting it.

Or just replace the image with a repaired one.

I have a 160,000 page PDF and on every other page, there is an image background.  Part of the background is a solid color that needs to be replaced with a different solid color.  The problem is that the text above it is variable so I either need to put the box between that image and the text above or find that text and recreate it above the new box.

Any ideas (I'm relatively new to Acrobat Javascript)

Thanks, I was afraid of that.  I did come up with a workaround, but it required other software.
