Invalid policy constraint

New Here ,

I'm trying to sign a PDF with my CAC (Common Access Card) but I see the error "the credential selected for signing is invalid". Digging deeper into the cert details, I see "invalid policy constraint".

This used to work 3 weeks ago when I last successfully signed a PDF. All on the same platform:

OS X 10.11.6

Acrobat Pro 11.0.17

Nothing obvious has changed on my end. I know my CAC cert is valid because I can sign the PDF with Reader on Windows 7.

How can I sign PDFs again on my Mac?

Yes, that is definitely the same problem I am having. Thank you for pointing me to that thread. Since we use Centrify here, I am stuck without a good workaround yet.
