Is there a folder or file limit for OCR scanning for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

I want to be able to batch OCR and Redact multiple folders. I have tried to do this when leaving for lunch or at the end of the day? When I come back to check the folders it is hit or miss on whether this worked or not. Anyone else have advice with their experience on this matter?

Acrobat is an interactive tool with some tools for VERY low volume automation. Don't expect to be able to go away for an hour and have it reliably work for an hour, that's not likely. Volume work needs a different kind of tool entirely, one Adobe don't make.

Officially there is no limit on number of files. You can add any number of PDFs to run OCR from 'Recognize Text in multiple files'.

If there is any file or a page in a file where OCR can't be run, it will add the error message in a dialog and continue OCR on remaining files.

Please let us know the settings, If you are facing any issue.
