Is there a problem with adding a pdf as a background?

I often add our letterhead as a background to pdf's however in the last day or 2 it is only adding the fields, not the text or logos.

Has anyone came across this before?

Do you use a form as background?

No. just a standard PDF with text and a graphic.

Check the appearance options when you add the background.

Thanks for your help. They are both set to display so that isn't the problem. I have narrowed down the issue to something being wrong with the source document. If I create the source documents again again it works.
