Is there a tool for checking links to external targets?

We have PDFs with lots of pages. On some pages we have links to external files like XLSX or PDF or folders. Is there a tool or a java script, which scans automatically all existing links in my PDF if the expected target of this link does exist? At the end it would be perfect, if I get a list from all failed links. Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
