Is there a way to shut Text Recognition and Text Box Breakage off?

I am annoyed by Acrobat constant trying to recognize text and auto adjusting text. Text boxes should be able to lock, not breakage, moving or splitting into multiple pieces (ie: table of contents)

Auto text recognition is not needed in my workflow. I have full control over my text, so there is no use there.

I'm curious as to where the settings are to disable these features.

PS. I don't not use commenting or markup, only text boxes or edited text. Either way, text recognition needs to stop in my case, as it is not helping.

I am still awaiting a reply Adobe, and I am further disappointed that this could occur. This happened with no input from user just by re-opening the document. I expect an explanation and solution or a full refund for a broken piece of software.

This is a User 2 User forum and the majority of responders are not Adobe employees. We are all well aware of the poor customer service for Acrobat users.

This maybe the result of trying to get PDF to display on various devices with extremely different screen sizes and the need to adjust text to fit the display "real estate".
