7:00 p.m. CST, Thursday, 28 January 2016 - Last night after paying $449 for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I thought I loaded that program into my computer, at least it would appear so since it is the first program listed in programs. However, since then I have not been able to use Adobe. Each time I try, I hear a chime and a message: Create Adobe PDF (with a nearby white cross on a red circle) Your request could not be completed. Adobe Acrobat DC license has either expired or has not been activreceive ated Adobe. I have been unable to receive assistance from Adobe representatives, so I am appealing for help from this forum. Thank you in advance for any suggestions to resolve this matter. BrotherColonel

If you bought it from Adobe, your email receipt has a serial number and a download link.
You download and install, entering the serial number when asked.
If it is properly installed, you will find Acrobat DC.app or.exe in Program Files > Adobe > Acrobat DC folder or the Application/Acrobat DC folder in the Mac.
When you launch it, check under the Help menu for Activate and click on it, or Sign in.
If not and you get a Trial Screen or an ad for Creative Cloud, find and click on "License this Software". You should see a serial number option.

also you go to my account in Adobe's home page and see if the product is activated there or if there is a delay.
