I've been pouring over docs about PDF forms, but haven' quite been able to figure out whether the following is possible (it soooo looks like it ought to be but I can't make it happen!):
Is it possible to use a response form for documents that have not been set for distribution?
The reason I ask is this:
I want to be able to have a form that can be downloaded from a website, and which has to be manually emailed back. The respondent must not be given the opportunity to do this automatically as they are required to also attach other documentation and files, and acrobat forms don't appear to have the facility for this.
From all the reading I've done so far, it seems that setting something up for distribution automatically enables several return methods such as adding a Gmail account, that don't allow for the attachment of other documentation, and this will lead to issues.
So ideally, the respondent will fill out the form and save it (with their new info in) then manually follow the instructions at the bottom of the form to send in the document.
Can I then process this through a response file?
Have something to add?
