matching font with Acrobat DC

New Here ,
Jun 08, 2016 Jun 08, 2016

When I use ocr and try to edit the text DC, according to it's list of features, is supposed to create a font to match the original font of the scanned document. However, it only works part of the time. Other times, even though a new font name is created, the actual typed font is vastly different from the rest of the font in a particular text box even if the character I type is already in the text box, example: I'm adding words to a text box that contains "123ABC", I add the text "123ABC", 1 and 2 might match font style of the original text, 3 will be larger and with boldface, A and B might be much finer or smaller (even though it shows font size is the same as the original), etc. etc. I hope that makes sense.

This is not only irritating, but severely hinders my work and completely removes the entire reason I bought the program.

Any help will be greatly appreciated@
