On July 12, 2016, Mobile Link functionality will no longer be available in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. You can still store and access your files in Adobe Document Cloud. Additionally, you can access, edit, and save your PDFs directly to your Box, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive accounts from Acrobat DC and Reader DC on the desktop.

Mobile link as I understand it, shows recently opened files across all devices. Why is that being removed? Is there another way this information is available?

Hi Eugene,
Mobile Link will no longer automatically upload files you've opened, but you can still make documents available across all your devices by saving them to your Document Cloud account. When you have the file open in Acrobat DC, just tap the "Save to Document Cloud" icon (image below), and that document will be uploaded and stored in your Document Cloud account for you to view, read, and work with on any device where you're signed in to Acrobat or Reader.
Hope this helps!
Rebecca

Thanks for explaining that. In order to mirror my Recently Opened Files on other devices, it did upload them all and at times I would know of nothing else but to turn off Mobile Link if it uploaded files I did not intend to be on all devices.
So being allowed to selectively upload needed files to the Document Cloud is the actually is the better option.

Hi Rebecca,
My name is Alexey. I must tell that I'm very disappointed with the decision of discontinuing the Mobile Link functionality
I used to find Mobile Link very useful in my daily life and work process.
Could you please tell the reason you've decided to remove Mobile Link?
Is there any chance it'll be brought up back sometime in the future?
Thank you
