Multiple radio buttons - required field text field

I have a form with multiple questions with radio buttons. I need to have a text field required for ANY response that is "No". I know who to do this for a single set of radio buttons but this method causes problems when there are multiple sets. (Selecting Yes on the question after an initial "No" makes make the field no longer required. Can anyone help?
