We are in the process of getting an SDK to allow us to create a custom application to read PDF files. We need test files that use different features within the PDF structure so we can verify that the product successfully renders the PDF file.
The Adobe PDF Library SDK is one of the options we will be evaluating. There is another SDK at Adobe that requires a copy of Adobe Reader, but that is not suitable for our use.
We had purchased an SDK, but it turns out it doesn't handle transparencies well. We want sample PDF files so that our next purchase can be verified to work.
