New feature request: revert to prior Acrobat Pro user interface. The UI for Acrobat Pro DC sucks swamp water. I HATE it. Nothing is where I expect it to be. Commonly used functions are now buried under layers of categories I access through buttons (such as create PDF), but commands are not where I expect so hunting for commonly used functions is a HUGE PAIN. Even when moved to the quick bar, often commands take multiple clicks. For example, I can't just OCR a document, I have to click on the OCR button, choose between "this file, in multiple files, or correct", then select the pages, then click on ANOTHER recognize text button before I can execute the command. Seriously? FOUR commands just to issue a single OCR command for a whole document. In the old version I pressed one button, pressed enter and was done: the whole document would be OCR'd, unless I specifically wanted to change the parameters of the OCR in the pop-up screen. The UI for Acrobat Pro DC is absolutely horrible, breaking what didn't need fixing and making muddy what was formerly clear. You should completely re-work it, but at a minimum provide users the ability to revert to the older versions' UI, which was at least readily intelligible. Who cares how pretty the UI for Pro DC is - it should be easy to use first and foremost. Oh yeah, and I hate having to relearn where all the commands are located, especially where they are not in the category in which I expect. STOP FIXING WHAT AIN'T BROKE!!!!!

You said it! Looks like a barrel of blind monkeys came up with this UI. This ridiculous program acts like it's just trying to p**s off it's cutomers

That comment was from 7 years ago... Some things never change, I guess.

Oh yeah, I've been hearing vigorous UI complaints since the change to version 5.
But to be fair, the Acrobat UI has had less consistency and more radical changes version to version than any other Adobe tool. I can go back to Photoshop 4, and the tool buttons and menu items still follow the same pattern, and many are identical.

Agree 1,000,000 times over. I have just spent 30 minutes doing what would have taken 10 seconds. This is the worst upgrade in the history of upgrades.
