New Installs says it's at 100%, but nothing moves...

Just bought and attempted to download Adobe Acrobat Standard DC - installer says it's at 100%, but it's not moving from there. I'm running Windows 7 and use Google Chrome. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

properly unninstall anything that's been installed.

clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

uninstall everything cc including the cc desktop app, if that's what you're calling the "install wizard".

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud using compatibility mode (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb456979.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Unfortunately, Acrobat does not show anywhere as being installed. There is no additional desktop icon and no new program listing in Windows. The install wizard is still on the desktop, but when I click it to try and install again, nothing happens.
