I tried running OCR on the file you shared with Acrobat DC. It runs OCR on complete page without any issue, and the recognize all the text. So issue you are talking about is already resolved in latest versions of Acrobat.

So can you please use trail version of latest Acrobat DC  Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC

Thanks.

Hi altonc9484122,

Could you please let me know if this happens with all the pdf files you try to run OCR on?

What is the dot version of Acrobat 10 Pro?

To check the version of Acrobat, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat XI Pro

You might try the steps given in the following link:

https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/better-pdf-ocr-clearscan-smaller-looks-better

Would it be possible for you to send the file? I have sent you a private message for the same, please respond to that message.

Thank You,

Shivam

Hi Shivam,

No, it doesn’t happen to all pdf files that I run OCR. Pdf files that have all image-based pages have this problem, where some images are OCR’ed and some are not.

I have Adobe Acrobat 10.1.16 Pro on my computer.

Thanks,

Issue might be because page is partially OCRed. Can you please share a sample document where you are facing this issue(https://cloud.acrobat.com/send ). We will check the same and update you.

Also Acrobat 10 is quite older version, which got expired years ago. So can you please try trail version of latest Acrobat DC and verify if issue has been already resolved there. Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC

Thanks.

For example, pages 8-10 are not OCR completely.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 10.1.16. You can view my file by clicking on the link below:
