Password Protecting a Reader Extended PDF

Guest

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to password protect a PDF file that has been reader extended?

Alternatively, is it possible to create the PDF in a way that allows users to save a PDF form (in Adobe Reader) with text entry and also password protect?

Thanks

Reader Enabling must be LAST. So protect first.

Also be sure to keep an original before signing, security or enabling. The chances of being able to take all these things off again for editing are small.

Thanks for your help.

Does that mean the actual form that is being distributed is password protected and the user is not able to do this themselves/change password from their end?

Is there a way of setting it up so the user of the form has the ability to password protect if they wanted to?

Thanks
