Thanks for the query.

You want to check for multiple pdfs whether they are PDF/A compliant or not but you don't want to open each file individually.

Correct?

Well, you can achieve this by creating a Preflight Droplet.
(But, in that case too, Acrobat will be opened and a preflight profile checkup will be run for the set of files. At-least that should serve the purpose.)
