PDF forms display with black background

New Here ,
Aug 04, 2016 Aug 04, 2016

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I use Acrobat Pro 9.5.5. Now my downloaded pdf forms that can be completed online or after saving are showing a black background and any data I fill in is barely visible.  Usually the background is white and the data is blue. Also, the fonts are blurred. I tried repairing the Acrobat installation and it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 10, so problems are to be expected.

For best results you should use Acrobat XI or DC.

I was hoping not to have to buy more software. Wondered if anyone else has experienced the same problem?
