PDF - Is it a scanned image?

New Here ,
Jul 12, 2016 Jul 12, 2016

I'm working on a Dell PC, Windows 7, Adobe Acrobat Pro X version 10

How can I tell if a PDF is a scanned image?

I have a pdf that has what looks like a Bates Numbering or Footer, but when I go to remove either it says it's neither a Bates or Footer.

I need to remove the P00001, P00002, etc...

Thank you for your assistance.

You can verify the content of page from Acrobat's left side's menu items.

1. Open PDF and open Acrobat's left side's menu items

2. Select content from the list of options available

3. Expand the PDF> pages

4. If there is only an image that means its just a scanned file no other content but if Bates numbering were added separately then there will be some other options like container or Text having same string as in PDF for bates numbering

Hope it will resolve your issue.

Thanks.
