PDF issue in IE11

Does anyone know a fix for the issue with opening PDF in IE11. I am using Adobe Acrobat XI

Please give full details, including error messages. It is dangerous to assume there is "an issue" for which there is "a fix". There might be other problems and we could give you damaging advice.

Thank you for your response but there is no error message it just shows a black box with a X in the upper left corner of screen when trying to open PDF in IE 11.
