PDF's does not print/ printer properties does not show up.

I have installed acrobat pro dc v15.006.30198.61077 on multiple machines and a few of them are having issues of not being able to print.  It seems the print job is not being sent to the printer and when you are in the print preview screen and try clicking on the properties of the printer no window will pop up.  Only way around to getting it to print again is to reboot the machine, but then it will eventually stop again.  Restarting print spooler did nothing, uninstalling, then ran the acrobat cleanup util and reinstalled did not correct the issue.  Any ideas out there?  Thanks

Tony

Hi ,

Are you trying to print to Adobe PDF or you are printing to your physical printer?

Try to print from other applications like MS Word or Notepad and check if are able to get printer properties.

Also, check what's the default printer is, in Control Panel, click on Start>Control Panel>Devices and Printers>look for a green check mark on printer(default printer).

Try to change your default printer by right clicking on the printer and click Set as default printer.

Also, check if you are getting printer properties in Devices and Printers, right click on the physical printer>Printer properties.

Let us know about the results.

Thank You!

Trying to print the pdf to a physical printer.  Printing a word doc, txt file and even a photo to the physical printer is fine.  Printing a pdf to the same printer does not work half the time.

Hi,

Could you please tell what happens when you are printing from Acrobat DC to the intended printer?

Try to uninstall Printer's driver from machine and then restart the Computer and then reinstall printer's driver (install only single printer's driver at first) and then check if printing from Acrobat DC works fine.

Also, try to install the latest patch(15.006.30201) open Acrobat and check for updates.
