PDFs are not printing from Acrobat DC

The following is happening for many of my users running Windows 7.

The print both to printers on a Windows 2012r2 Print server and also to printers attached via IP address.

All of the users have Acrobat DC with the latest updates.

The problem:
When the user selects print the print dialog box comes up. When they then click print the box closes. It never spools or does anything else..

What I have done to trouble shoot:

1. Tried different files saved locally and also out of email--same result as above.

2. Uninstalled Acrobat DC and printed from the reader--same result.

3. Uninstalled Reader and reinstalled Acrobat--same result.

4. Ran the Clean Acrobat and Reader tool and then reinstalled--same result.

5. Removed printer off of server and reinstalled printer using latest installer--same result.

6. Tried printing to different printers--same result.

7. Turned off any security settings in Acrobat--same result

8. I ran through all the steps in adobe's printing troubleshooting steps, with the exception of Preflight as I didn't have that option.

Note that sometimes pdf's may print after any of the above steps, but eventually we have issues again.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Make sure Acrobat DC & the printer drivers are updated to the latest version.

Meenakshi,

Thank you for your response. That is the troubleshooting document that I followed. Acrobat DC is fully updated and I have reinstalled the printer with the latest print driver from the manufacturer to no effect.

I have exactly the same problem and the trouble shooting steps recommended don't fix the issue. Except I sometimes have luck if I use the black and white option (printer is monochrome)

Could you please confirm the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are using.

Are you experiencing this issue with all PDFs?
