I am trying to reinstall my Adobe Acrobat, after I lost it when my computer crashed and then was repaired. In my account, there is no history of my purchase. Need help, please....
Did you upgrade from Acrobat 8 to XI, or did you purchase a new license? I'm not even sure it was possible to make that upgrade, but maybe... If that's the case then you need to enter the s/n of your Acrobat 8 license in order to be able to install Acrobat XI.

Did you purchase it from Adobe? If not, did you register it? What version of Acrobat is it?

Hi There, It is Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard, and I purchased it online from the Adobe site. I have my Order # and Serial # too. I have since read someone's post on here that this version is no longer available for download... is that true? I've only had it 2 or 3 years... was hoping to get a bit longer out of it for the money I paid.

Not possible. Adobe hasn't sold Acrobat 8 in much much longer than 2-3 years. At that time it was already obsolete and not supported.
Anyway, the installer for Acrobat 8 (Pro) is still available here, but don't expect any support or help with it: Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9

You were right, thank you. I have since found my info for my most recent version of Acrobat. It is Acrobat XI Pro. So I have downloaded and set it up on my computer. But now when I go to register it, I get a message saying that my serial # is valid but a 'a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.' So I log into my Adobe account, and it says I have no registered products. I go to register my product with my serial number, and it tells me that it's already registered. Like really? This is so frustrating... What do I do next?

Registration is not really relevant here. It just means the product you bought is listed under your account (which is good), but it doesn't mean you can actually use it. What that error message means is that you've installed an Upgrade version of Acrobat, which means that in additional to it you must have an earlier full version. Without having that version you can't use what you got.

Indeed, I had the full version of Acrobat 8 Standard, then in April 2013 I purchased and upgraded to Acrobat XI Pro. Everything was great until my computer crashed. I had it repaired, but lost all of my programs. And since they put Windows 10 on it when they repaired it, my other programs won't work on. So I'm loading all my programs onto my other (newer) computer which still has Windows 7 on it. Could that be the issue? All my other programs loaded and are working perfectly, it's just Acrobat that is being a pain. Am I going to have to repurchase an Acrobat program? That just doesn't seem right to me...

Thank you so much! It worked. You were right, I had to enter my serial # for XI Pro before the setup, then I had to enter the serial # for 8 Standard before it would let me use it. I would have never thought to do that. I'm not real techy. And yes, the XI Pro was an upgrade. Thank you so much for all your help!
