PowerPoint 2010 and PDF - Links are getting weird (PC)

So I'm doing a relatively simple task of building an interactive PPT, that I would like to save as a PDF. I want my end user to be able to navigate through the presentation more quickly, so I've added links to the various sections of my presentation. For as long as I can remember, I've simply right clicked on what I wanted to link, clicked hyperlink > place in this document > selected the slide I want the link to go to and then I was done. From there I've traditionally chose Save As > PDF file and I've never once had a problem.

Now for whatever reason, when I save it to a PDF, all of my links work, but they do not go to the correct page of the presentation. Can anyone think of anything I'm doing wrong

Hi,

Are you using Acrobat for conversion? Please note File->Save As->PDF file is a functionality provided by Microsoft. To create a PDF using Acrobat from within Powerpoint use can either use the Acrobat ribbon->Create PDF option or the File->Save As Adobe PDF option. Do let us know if you face any issues while creating the PDF using Acrobat.

Regards,

Basma
