I am using Mac 10.11.5, El Capitan, all programs from Creative Suite (Cloud). CWS 5.8. It's most likely not an EFI issue, but Adobe seems to want to ignore this: I upgraded my Acrobat DC about a month ago. They have taken away the Fiery Properties tab, which is still accessible with InDesign and replaced it with a 1990's version of this. I feel like I'm in the old Quark days. When I access the Print Properties and look for the Fiery Features, I get drop downs galore (like original 1990's programs) I've already made peace with the fact that the Microsoft programs already just ignored the feature, after all, why would an office environment need to change the gsm on anything? Things like preview are the same. I work in a print environment and use Acrobat for at least 75% of my work. It's annoying. I'd scrub the program and go back to the old version but the upgrades are ALMOST worth it. Anyone have the same problem? Just upgraded Illustrator yesterday and the same issue.
Actually, there is nothing that Adobe did explicitly to take away the “Fiery Properties tab.”
Was this a plug-in to Acrobat provided by EFI? If so, you need to obtain a new plug-in (most likely directly from EFI) since the plug-ins for earlier versions were 32-bit and Acrobat DC is now 64-bit. None of the older plug-ins are compatible.
If it isn't a plug-in, was it a special driver? Where did that tab appear?
Regardless, contact EFI (the manufacturer of Fiery) and see what they know about the issue

Regardless, contact EFI (the manufacturer of Fiery) and see what they know about the issue and whether they have a software update they can provide to you to restore the functionality.

Sir, you have made my day! I originally posted on an EFI forum and did not receive any feedback. I did exactly what you suggested and it worked. It's made everything I do so much easier.
I wanted to insert the screenshot I took outlining where I had the problem, what changed when I upgraded and the result of your suggestion but it doesn't seem to be working or working slowly, I have go.
I thank you again!
