Printing a booklet

How do I print a multipage PDF so that I can fold the print out in half, staple the binding, and have the pages turn like a book in correct order?

I used to use quite imposing from quite.com. Now it appears only quite imposing plus is available.

Apparently, Quite Software has consolidated its product offering, only licensing the Quite Imposing Plus version now. That having been said, it is a magnificent, very reliable, and very efficient Acrobat plug-in from one of the true PDF industry experts.

I need to print booklet to a .ps pdf.... then impose it.

with the new 10.11.5 OS + creative cloud, my ppd has disappeared.

I can only find old versions downloadable as .sea files, which my system wont open.

You can impose a pdf using the software I mentioned above. Quite Imposing Plus. PPDs don't really work the same way they used to in recent versions of OS X. In the Print Dialog box, you can click on the PDF button and either save a postscript or save as Adobe PDF.
