printing pdf of  8-page on two 11x17 pages, keep getting 8 small images on one pages of 11x17?

Try to follow the below mention steps and see if it works:

1- Check if there an update available for Acrobat/Reader, launch the application>navigate to Help menu>select Check for updates.

2- Try to set Pages per sheet to 2, and see if it works.

Could you please let me know the version of Adobe Acrobat installed on the computer?

To check the version of Acrobat, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat/Reader

Which operating system do you have- Windows/Mac?
