New Here ,
Aug 23, 2016 Aug 23, 2016

When printing a pdf, program automatically tries to print to file and saving as a .prn or .ps file. Can't figure out how to stop this or what I'm doing wrong.

We were printing from Acrobat, Windows 8. Happened with all files, no “print to file” button available. Went straight to “print to file”. Solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hi todds95930873 ,

Could you please let us know the Operating System installed on your Computer- Windows/Mac?

Is this happening with specific file or with all the files?

Are you printing from Acrobat or from a Web Browser like Internet Explorer/Google Chrome?

Try to uncheck print to file option while printing.

Launch Acrobat, click on print(Ctrl+P)> then click Advanced>uncheck the box Print to File>click OK.

Below is the screenshot :

Let us know about the results.

Thank You,

Shivam
