When I upgraded my Macbook Pro to El Capitan 10.11.5, Acrobat wouldn't open.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still will not open.  Any suggestions?

Hi mrich5499 ,

Please follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

If the issue still persist, please try to reinstall the program in different user account with Admin Rights to replicate the issue .

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Yatharth

Thank you.  That may have helped after the fact.  I discovered that after the update to MAC Os 10.11.5, it appeared Acrobat was not opening.  However, I finally discovered a tiny white pixel size square in the bottom of the right side of the scree.  After some manipulation, i was able to get it to uncover the green maximize widow button and open the display.

I'm not sure why this occurred on the update, but it is almost impossible to see.  Resetting preferences may have helped but there may have been other causes.

Thanks
