Adobe Acrobat XI Pro continues to give errors (recently in the past week) when trying to print and printing is unsuccessful from quick print in Outlook.
Error pops up and regardless of the menu selection it does not print.
"This operation is not permitted as this document is not trusted. Do you want to trust this document?
C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\JQF326eY\filename.pdf
HELP YES NO
"
Temporary file is generated in the above referenced location and printing does not occur. Error comes from Adobe Acrobat popup window.
Previously, printing was able to be done quickly to the default printer. Now, regardless of resetting the settings, selecting "Yes", or doing any other configuration changes in Adobe, it does not work.
Repairing Adobe Acrobat brings the following error:
Program is not compatible.

Hi ice63724198 ,
Could you please tell if this is happening with the particular message or with all the messages ?
You could also use "Convert to Adobe PDF" option by right click on the message and then select "Convert to Adobe PDF".
Thanks!

More specifics:
1. PDF document is already attached to an Outlook email and is already in .PDF format
2. All .PDF attachments are giving this error when quick printing (I have about 30 emails with attachments)
A. The only way around seems to be to -> 1. Open the .pdf 2. Allow permissions 3. File 4. Print
3. I don't see a "Convert to Adobe PDF" option in Outlook / Office 365

You could re-register the context menu by following these steps :
1 - Press Windows key on your keyboard and type "cmd", right click on it and select Run as Administrator.
2- Type- cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat Elements, hit enter.
3- Now type - regsvr32 Contextmenu64.dll and hit enter.
These above steps are for 64 bit system , if you are on 32 bit system , type the below command in cmd -
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat Elements and hit enter and then regsvr32 Contextmenu.dll and hit enter.
Let me know if it worked
Thanks!

After following your steps I receive the success message for my 64 bit operating system.
"DllRegisterServer in contextmenu64.dll succeeded"
However,
This does not solve the problem and the original error message still occurs when trying to quick print from Microsoft Office / Outlook 365.

Thank you for this troubleshooting step.
I've started Adobe in administrator mode and protected view is greyed out and not a selectable option.

I want to mention that Acrobat does this for for security purpose.
However if you want to disable this feature , you can disable it by following the steps given in this link under "Locking protected mode" - Protected Mode — Acrobat Application Security Guide
However we would suggest you to not disable this feature .
Thanks!

Although I will take your recommendation not to disable the feature, the user guide references to,
"check or uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup."
This option is not available to me so I was not able to even proceed if I would have liked to.
My screen is shown below:
Additional searching comes up empty when trying to reference the "Enable Protected Mode at startup" box.
I'm starting to think there is no known solution to my problem with Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.

I've done all requested steps and even did the not recommended steps in the previous message.
Quick-Printing from Microsoft Outlook 365 still returns the following message in Adobe Acrobat Pro:
Even after trusting the document, every other document I try to quick-print shows the same message.
I've added the host to the trusted senders and message still appears.
