"View Adobe PDF results" not working

New Here ,
Jul 20, 2016 Jul 20, 2016

I have "View Adobe PDF results" checked in printing preferences, but it doesn't happen. The only way I can see the result is to find the document in Explorer and open it. I haven't always had this problem, but I can't recall when it started. I am using Acrobat XI Pro on Win 7 Pro.

Hi fred237698

Could you please try uninstalling application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and restart your system.

Then try to install application from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X and check if it works.

Let us know if you still experience the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi fred237698

Try once the "Repair Installation" under Help menu.

Please let us know the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are using.

Regards,

Meenakshi

"Repair Installation" has made no difference.

Acrobat XI Pro version is 11.0.17. I estimate that there have been maybe three updates since this problem started.

OS is Windows 7 Pro which I always keep patched up to date.
