reinstallation & invalid serial number acrobat pro X

Hi everybody,

I'm a happy user of Surface Pro 3 (Win 10) and master collection CS 5.5.
Creative Cloud suggested me to upgrade to Acrobat DC; well at that time I didn't know I was not eligeable to...
My problem is that the upgrade process (at the beginning) requested me to uninstall previous version of Acrobat Pro; what I did !

Of course, after ascertainment I can't upgrade I tried to reinstall Acrobat Pro (from the DVDs) and, at first launch I had to provide my serial number... just to get the answer that "This serial number is not valid for this product".
The serial number I entered is on a label on DVD Box of the Master Collection (so, not specifically an Acrobat S.N.). It's of course the same s.n. as in my Adobe account.
I know I did'nt desactivated Acrobat X (it was removed during the upgrade process before I knew it will fail).
Anyway, I'm not sure that's the source of the problem.
What can I do now? Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Henry Tourneur

‌Be sure to install only with the Creative Suite installer, don't just pick out the Acrobat install files.

Yep, that's what I did.

Unfortunatelly when installation is complete & I want to start Acrobat Pro I get this CS5.5 Master Collection Trial box requesting to start a trial of 30 days OR enter my serial number... which is rejected as explained in my first message.

Thanks for your answer; any other idea ?
