Reinstalling Acrobat 7

Explorer ,
Apr 10, 2016 Apr 10, 2016

I need to reinstall Acrobat 7 on a new PC.  It is an upgrade for Acrobat 5.0 which is already installed.  When I complete the ULA questions and the serial numbers for Acrobat 7 the installation is unable to find Acrobat 5 and the software does not offer me the possibility to direct it to the folder where Acrobat 5 lives.  Please advise how to proceed.

Hi David Dundas,

Please let us know the OS installed on your new system.

Make sure you are installing it on a compatible device.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Somehow a Co-Worker was able to install 7.0 Pro on his new computer with Windows 7 OS.  I was using the trial version of XI Pro and he threw away his notes before I was able to install on mine.  Besides the cost of XI Pro, I like the user interface of 7.0 a whole lot better.  I primarily deal with large format drawings, combine, seal, etc. and 7.0 works better than the newer versions of Pro.
