REVIT cannot create PDF because Adobe is not activated

I want to print one sheet from a revit document into a PDF - i constantly get an error message:

Adobe PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated. When i go to acrobat on my desktop and try to open it - it just doesnt open. I have tried to repair the Adobe program but i still come into the same problem wen i try to create a PDF with revit. in other applications within the creative suite (ie: InDesign) i can create a PDF without a problem.

Any ideas?

InDesign doesn't use Acrobat. You need to get Acrobat working. What system.m, and what version of Acrobat?
