I am writing the question in this Scanning & OCR section, because running text recognition seems to make cropping permanent. Adobe Acrobat XI Version 11.0.14 was recently installed on my new computer and since then I have been having this problem. To elaborate, I am working with large scanned drawings with high resolution. When I attempt to OCR the PDFs in their original size, Acrobat cannot perform because of the resolution; therefor I must crop and then run OCR. When cropping a page (or all pages) on a pdf, one could normally go back to the cropping option and set to zero to revert to the PDFs original size. Before this program was installed on this new computer I could crop, run OCR and bring the pdf to its original size. Now, when I crop the pages so that OCR can be ran, and then run OCR, the cropping becomes permanent. Reducing the resolution is not an option because these drawings must be viewed clearly on a large scale.

Also While doing OCR select Searchable Image Exact as PDF output style. It will not crop the document permanently after OCR.
