Hi Guys

I’m creating with adobe acrobat pro (10.1.16) a pdf with some calculations. Some fields are visible but not printable. My problem is, that the functions save as pdf with the print function is not longer working(Mac User).  With this function I could save my file as pdf without this fields. Is there a other solution to generate a pdf without this not printable fields?

Thanks for helping,  Elio

It can be done with a script, but I think you can also do it with the built-in commands. There's a command to show/hide fields and there's a command to execute a menu item, where you can select File - Save As.

You can set those fields as hidden.

Thx for your answer. Yes, but then i can't set a value when i open it in the adobe reader. The end user should work with it on adobe reader. and if he save d pdf, the not printable fields should be hidden

You can add your own "Save Flat Version" button (or something like that) to the file, that hides those fields and then prompts the user to save it.

and how can I do that? Sorry, can't find it. So create a normal button. And then, define a action? But which one ?
