Scanning 1/2 pages

New Here ,
Jul 27, 2016 Jul 27, 2016

I am scanning 3/4 page checks and it used to just scan and create the page without scaling...and would make it an 8 1/2 x 11 page as portrait and the bottom of the page would be blank.  Now when I scan it wants to make my 3/4 page fit the entire page and automatically turns it landscape instead of portrait.

I do I fix this?

Hi janal77408248

Could you please let us know exact steps you do to scan the page to PDF.

Are you able to scan PDF using other application without any issues?

Please also share the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are using.

Regards,

Meenakshi

To scan I go into Adobe Acrobat X Standard and select Create PDF from

scanner.

I don't use any other applications for scanning.

*Please also share the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are

using.*

Can you please explain this? I am not sure what this is.

Thank you!!!!

Hi janal77408248

As you mentioned you are using Acrobat X.

You can check the dot version of Acrobat X under Help menu > About Adobe Acrobat X.

Please also let us know the dot version of OS you are using- Windows/Mac.

Would also like to inform you that Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi janal77408248

Acrobat X is not compatible with Windows 10.

It may or may not work properly.

You can try once to refer the troubleshooting steps provided in this KB doc: Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat

Meenakshi
