Script for deleting pages sometimes does not work

Good evening, I am having some trouble understanding why my program has trouble deleting pages sometimes? My coworker and I use the same program, and he never gets errors when it comes to deleting pages via our script, only I get the error. We are pulling pages automatically from our shared cloud drive. The error I get goes along the lines of: "Error; could not delete pages; pages are open or are being used, and could not be deleted." Does anybody know why this happens?  Perhaps our google file drive does not like our script?
