Using Adobe Acrobat DC, when sending out a shared review Adobe Acrobat crashes when we click the send button. We are using Outlook 2016. This happens under multiple conditions, if we use the address book it crashes when you click the send. If you type the email address it crashes when you click send. This was also an issues with Adobe Acrobat XI as well.

Hi XYZENG,
Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates "
Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848
If you are on Windows OS, open Acrobat, navigate to Help menu & repair the installation.
Please check with other documents as well to replicate the issue. Also check with the name of the application using which the documents are being created .
Also please try to check the behavior with the program in Different user account with admin rights.
Regards,
Yatharth

We are using the latest version DC(15.010.20059) The latest update available, is was released today and still has the same exact problem. We have attempted this on multiple computer (windows 7 and windows 10) under multiple users, including users with full administrative privileges. this issues happens on any PDF file we have tested on about 20 or so different files some new some old some created from word and several other non office apps. The installations have been repaired, updated, reinstalled extra all of the above. The issue Did Not start happening until we upgraded to office 2016 and seems to crash when Outlook is used to send email of the shared review link.
If I type the email address manually it will work. But if I attempt to open my contacts and select a person then when I click send it will crash. Also if I crash Adobe once using this method it will crash from that point on even after reopening Adobe and typing the email address manually again. If I reboot the computer I am again able to manually type and email address and sent will work fine. So seems directly related to Office Outlook 2016 and the send for shared review. Because if I use adobe to send a file link using the Adobe menus File > Send File and use my outlook contacts it work fine no crashing.

Hi Yathart, The KB article you mention is about problems with PDFmaker, which is not what this thread is about. This is about problems when Acrobat needs to open Outlook 2016 to send a notification for a shared review. Outlook 2016 crashes in that case. We have the same issue. As a workaround, we bypass Outlook by having Acrobat connect directly to the smtp server. However, this does not allow for setting the codepage for example, so we cannot use special characters. We would like a solution to send the notification email via Outlook 2016.
