Set language on reading options in properties

I have been attempting to update some PDFs to add the language in the Advanced section of the Document Properties (File -> Properties... -> Advanced tab -> Reading Options). Whenever I set the language, it appears to save it. When I reopen the PDF with Acrobat, it will still be selected. However, whenever I open the same PDF with Adobe Reader, the language is no longer set. Is there some publishing step that I am missing? Or something else going on?

Hi blakep25957666,

Would like to inform that feature is available in Acrobat Standard only (pdf editor version) not in Adobe Reader (Free version) .

Regards,

Yatharth

Ah, might have not explained very well. I know I can't set the language via

Adobe Reader. But I thought I would be able to see it in Adobe Reader after

I set it using Acrobat Standard. Right now, even though it is set and shows

up fine using Acrobat Standard, the language does not show as being set

when viewed with Adobe Reader.
