If I am typing in a small expandable field, and the typing begins to hide... How can I expand the field to see everything as I am typing?

Acrobat created forms do not have expandable fields. One can create a form field with a font size of "Auto".
Only LiveCycle has dynamic form fields and dynamic PDFs.

Correct… what is the shortcut, or whatever you would call it, to have the dynamic field show everything?

If you have Acrobat, go to Form Edit mode, right-click the field, select Properties - Appearance, and then set the font size to Auto.

That is a great idea, only it won’t work in this situation, we have site standards that we have to follow… Isn’t there something like a Control F2 or something that temporarily makes the ‘box’ bigger while filling it in?

Not sure what you mean... You can zoom in, of course, but that doesn't change the actual size of the field.

If the form was created on LiveCycle and set as dynamic, the field will automatically resize. But since this form is not it will not. You might try setting the font size based on how many characters have been entered.
Ever consider a continuation field?

The form was created in LiveCycle, and when the customer is entering data they are unable to see all of the words as they are typing them in (it is an expandable field, and she is asking how can she view the whole field as she is typing it in… I am guessing zoom could maybe work, but I don’t know the key shortcut for zoom)

In that case you're better off asking here: LiveCycle Designer

If I am not mistaken one needs to make the field dynamic and the PDF a dynamic PDF. This should be covered in the documentation included under "Help" in LiveCycle.
