I have a calculating form, but when I add a signature field, the calculate tab disappears. How do I handle this issue?

Don't use a e-sign form.

Why does the e-sign form disable the compute function? Is there any other way to have a PDF signed that contains calculation? We are trying to put the form on our website. It requires a signature.

Under "Prepare Form" add a signature field.

I added the signature field under "Prepare Form". The calculate total field still functions properly, but when I email the form from Adobe Sign, the calculation no longer functions. I tested the form by emailing the form directly and the calculation field functions properly, but when I email through esign, the calculation field doesn't work. From your feedback and my conclusion, there is a flaw in esign's ability to properly handle all functionality included in a PDF. I would like to submit a suggestion for this to be looked into and corrected in the next version of esign.

This type of forms doesn't support calculations.

Thanks for your clarification. I don't know the coding behind esign to prevent the calculation from being retained on a form, but at least I know I'm not doing something wrong.
