Signing with SHA 1 Certificate in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Hello,

I have a problem with a user trying to sign a document with their SHA 1 certificate, but for some reason the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will not use it even if its being told to in the signature settings. Is there a reason for this? Is there compatibility issues with that old of a cert?

Hi Luck2654

You might refer to the following links which discusses the issue similar to yours:

Signing using sha256 by default using many different smart cards

adobe reader x, and win7, sha-1 instead of sha-256

Thank You,

Shivam
